5 days.
2 camps.
tiring.
but really wonderful.
Famine camp was a new experience for me and i must say it was really quite enjoyable. the hunger was nothing because they kept feeding us with packet drinks but the things learnt and the friends made was something else. at first i was a little apprehensive about the camp coz i didn't know anybody from my group but then i met some very interesting people and they really made the camp worth it. besides, with nyap, bo, manling and xinyi just beside my group, the whole camp was never boring.
CO camp. i never thought i would say this but this camp totally rocks! i totally did not want to go to the camp in the first place coz the j2s that are going and are non-exco are only me, kelvin, xiaoling and iggy but i couldn't find any excuse so i had no other choice but to go. luckily my group had very nice people in it like my 2 smss juniors, janice, kelvin, peiling and kai nam (not sure how to spell). the first day was very tiring coz we had to go around the whole of singapore and to tell the truth i was totally lost and was just following whatever kai nam said. we were the slackest group coz we walked all the way but we still managed to be the first group to complete the race. haha...our group rocks! at night, we played a sort of detective game and it was really interesting. our group managed to solve the puzzle although we couldn't find the loot. haiz. i guess you can't have a cake and bite it at the same time. the next day, while i went for mass signing, they prepared for the performance and janice bought me a ice blended coffee which cost 6 bucks at my request la...i was totally shocked. haha...in the afternoon we played the war game which involved about 500+ water bombs and i have to say that the guys are really violent. and the chilli sauce thing they splashed was totally disgusting. after bathing, we had free time and as usual we played bridge and dai dee. i think it has become a tradition of co to play card games during camp. haha...after dinner, chyi yue and lih min came back to watch our performance and my group performed as a rock band and as usual our group was the best in terms of entertainment value.haha..overall the camp was very fun and although the unity shown hardly told the truth of what has happened during the last 1 year but i still think that it was really nice. and if what i heard about kenneth was really true then i really salute him for his devotion to co. now i am officially retired from co and i think i will really miss my er-hu, the practice pieces and the feeling of playing in an orchestra. it's time to hit the books.jia you guys!
