i think i'm really beginning to enjoy lab sessions for PPDA...today's test was really fun and although i stained my hands yellow and suffered a minor burn i thoroughly enjoyed playing detective...my compound had a aromatic nitro and aromatic aldehyde functional group (assuming that i had guessed correctly)...the reduction test was really horrible having to vortex the burning test tube every 5 mins but was quite worth it to see the red precipitate forming after the azodye test...haha...
oh ya APsC was formally formed on the last day before mid-term break with the first AGM held at sakura restaurant...we thoroughly stuffed ourselves that day and we managed to elect our ex-co in a democratic yet barbaric kind of way...anyway i'm logistic head together with patrice and our main job is to photocopy notes for every lecture (esp. physical pharm)... below is a listing of the various post:
